Additional description

The front is polished, the right is carefully worked with the use of tooth chisel (its marks are still visible); the back is roughly picked, the other sides are broken off. The front is considerabley defaced and weathered; the fragment was also rounded by tidal action.

Position

On the front. Broken off on all sides except the right; badly weathered and damaged by tidal action in sea water. Margins: right 0,9. H.19.7, W.17.7

Lettering

Evenly carved letters, apparently following ruled lines; small serifs, alpha with broken crossbar, cursive mu. Average space between lines: 0,8cm.
