Translation
[Property] of Dionysos.
Commentary
The text Δινύσ̣ο̣ - the name of god Dionysos in the genitive marks the cup as property of Dionysos. LSJ, s.v. Dιόνυσος lists alternative spellings of the name in epigraphic sources, including Δίνυσος Αρχ. Εφ. 1913.221 (Mytilene). Other: Διένυσος, IG 12(7).78 (Amorgos); Δεύνυσος, Διώνουσος - Boeotia, IG 7.2468. It is also possible that the first omicron was left out by accident in our case.
